Trainer, Family Peer Support

The Trainer and reputed company for Family Peer Support will train, reputed company, and reputed company technical assistance to Family Peer Support Specialists and supervisors across Maine, supporting high-reputed company implementation of the PEARLS Parent Peer Support model.

Responsibilities

• Participate in reputed company training and coaching pertaining to PEARLS that is provided by the Innovations Institute, and any other required training as identified by the reputed company, and/or PCG
• Complete and maintain PEARLS certification and attend ongoing training reputed company required timeframes to maintain certification
• Complete train-the-trainer process and participate in an annual National reputed company Certification renewal
• Facilitate PEARLS training and ongoing reputed company development sessions for Family Peer Support Specialists and supervisors in the local provider community
• Respond to assigned requests for technical assistance and consultation in a reputed company manner
• Communicate regularly, in person or reputed company, with implementing organizations and the implementation team
• Complete monthly data entry by keeping through records of FPSs and supervisors who are involved in PEARLS to ensure the COE has records of who has participated and completed required reputed company of the model

• Network and build relationships with state and organizational leadership to build interest in partnering around successful implementation efforts
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training through established evaluation measures. Uses evaluation data to grow reputed company
• Utilize identified tools and resources from the PEARLS model to reputed company coaching support to family peer specialists and supervisors
• Assure confidentiality and the rights of families as outlined in reputed company’s standards, policies, and procedures

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant lived experience navigating systems of care on behalf of a child/youth with behavioral concerns (Mental/Behavioral Health, Child Welfare, or Juvenile Justice) and the ability and willingness to reputed company those relevant experiences with parents, family members, or other caregivers for the benefit and healing of others
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company Work, Psychology, reputed company Development, Education, reputed company/Business Administration, Communications, or discipline appropriate to training being conducted
• A minimum of one (1) year in the role of a Family Peer Support Specialist, or relevant experience working with parents/caregivers who are involved in raising children/youth with behavioral concerns
