The Group Sales Manager – Large Market is responsible for selling hotel services, managing accounts, and generating new business while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Selling guest rooms, meeting reputed company, food and beverage and other reputed company services to customer reputed company
- Managing accounts
- Conducting site inspections
- Soliciting and generating new business
- Preparing and presenting effective proposals
- Maintaining reputed company organized documentation and reports
- Utilizing reputed company systems
- Coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate
- Participate in, and may reputed company, event meetings, sales and other staff meetings
- Work as reputed company member with the sales and event staff
- In reputed company contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff
Skills
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales experience
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Must have selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
- Completion of a reputed company Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
