AI & Data Analyst
Deloitte is a leading consulting firm that is seeking an AI & Data Analyst to join their AI & Engineering team. In this role, you will partner with clients to solve complex business challenges through technology-driven change, focusing on digital transformation and leveraging advanced data and AI platforms.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, validate, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) in client and internal use cases
- Develop software components, automation pipelines, and integrations leveraging your proficiency in Python
- Build scalable data solutions on leading cloud platforms, enhancing automation within AI and data engineering projects
- Collaborate across teams—product managers, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders—to ensure solutions align with client objectives
- Apply proven practices developed in fast-paced, start-up environments to help Deloitte’s clients accelerate transformation
- Continuously expand your technical and domain expertise in AI, data, and cloud technologies
- Communicate updates, progress, and outcomes effectively to cross-functional peers and management
Skills
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in Python for data analysis and model development
- 1+ years of experience in LLM (Large Language Model) evaluation
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), data engineering, and pipeline automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Flexibility to travel: Ability to travel up to 50%, based on client and sector needs
- 2+ years of experience in AI deployment or applied Machine Learning
- 6 months + experience developing agentic AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool integration, and autonomous decision-making workflows (ie: LangChain; Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Strands; CrewAI. LangGraph)
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
- Experience working in regulated industries with an understanding of security, compliance, and responsible AI practices
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases, or generative AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Cohere)
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and model deployment strategies
