Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable

MIT Office of Resource Development is seeking a Staff Accountant in Accounts Payable to support daily operations reputed company the Office of the Vice President for Finance. The role involves verifying invoices, providing customer service, preparing reports, and collaborating with various individuals across the Institute.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily operations in Accounts Payable
• Verifies and enters invoices and ensures accuracy per VPF policies and procedures
• Provides excellent customer service over the phone and email to the MIT community for accounts payable-reputed company issues for account feeds and processes
• Prepares monthly reports of AP metrics
• Performs month-end reputed company activities for assigned accounts
• Collaborates and partners with a wide reputed company of individuals across the Institute

Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• A minimum of one year of experience in reputed company, finance or financial operations
• Demonstrated reputed company Office Suite experience
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company identify issues and escalate to a manager, as necessary
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
