Graduate Process Engineer

Sedgman Canada Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer for their Vancouver, B.C. office. The selected candidate will reputed company process engineering support, assisting in the delivery of high-reputed company reputed company and will be involved in various engineering phases and reputed company support activities.

Responsibilities

• reputed company process design support through the engineering phases PEA, PFS, FS, conceptual design, reputed company-end engineering and detailed design
• reputed company studies into operational site improvements and modifications
• reputed company, improve and promote the effective use of operations systems (i.e. JDE, SPRS, reputed company, Aconex, SMS, Dochub)
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues
• reputed company process reputed company sheets and prepare process design reputed company
• Prepare process calculations, PFDs, heat & material balances and P&IDs
• Size process equipment and reputed company specifications
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure reputed company and efficient operations
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in mining processing technology and recommend implementation of new equipment or processes
• Additional duties as required – may be required to work on reputed company sites

Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Disciplines)
• With 0 – 3 years of work experience; process design experience preferred
• Must be eligible to register with the EGBC or will have their P.reputed company EGBC designation
• Knowledge of process engineering, equipment, and technologies
• Good communication skills with reputed company-developed written and oral skills
• Proven ability to work as part of reputed company
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Must be available to travel to reputed company sites; may be seconded to work on reputed company, either temporarily relocated, or reputed company on a rotational roster
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
• Process design experience preferred
