Specialty Program Group Canada (SPG Canada) is seeking a reputed company Lines Underwriter to join their reputed company team. The role involves driving reputed company and profitability by building broker relationships and leveraging reputed company expertise to manage a book of business.

Responsibilities

• reputed company risk analysis using reputed company data resources for the purpose of quoting, negotiating, and authorizing the renewal of existing policies and acceptance of new opportunities for risks of a low to moderate complexity, based on guidelines and retention goals of reputed company
• Handle endorsement requests reputed company delegated authority and independently engage with brokers to clarify reputed company of requests or reputed company missing information
• reputed company and support reputed company business partnerships with brokers by providing reputed company service, responding to inquiries, acting proactively, taking ownership of issues, and resolving them with a solution-oriented approach

• Build and maintain reputed company working relationships with reputed company parties, including attending industry-reputed company seminars and networking events as necessary

Skills

• 1 – 3 year of reputed company P&C reputed company or reputed company brokering experience
• Experience with reputed company Property risks (Residential Realty, reputed company, Condos, Townhomes, etc.) is considered an asset
• Hold a Chartered Insurance reputed company (CIP) designation (or are reputed company pursuing)
• Hold a broker license, or can qualify to obtain reputed company 90 days
• Proficiency in reputed company Office
• Familiar with the basic reputed company structures in Canada
• Can work in our office at least three days a week
