Analyst, Data & Software Engineering - February 2026 Start Date

Ovative Group is an independent media, measurement, and creative firm that helps brands transform their media and measurement programs. They are seeking an Analyst, Data & Software Engineering to join their product and engineering development team, where the individual will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining scalable software and data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define needs & develop applications that bring value to the organization
• Assess complex problems and provide well thought out options on how to resolve them
• Create distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and simple-to-manage/use
• Document and test new software solutions
• Follow current documentation templates and suggest improvements to documentation strategies
• Test systems to ensure the highest quality solutions possible

Skills

• 0-1 years experience creating software
• Experience with one or more major programming object-oriented languages (Python, Java). Python preferred
• Experience working with databases using SQL
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
