[Remote] Associate Advisor - Business Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zenith Wealth Partners is a fee-only investment management and financial planning firm dedicated to combating wealth inequality. They are seeking an experienced Associate Advisor to provide exceptional service to minority-owned small businesses and entrepreneurs, focusing on financial decision-making and strategic consulting. Responsibilities • Serve as a key member of the client relationship team to deliver advice, establish follow-up items, and coordinate next steps with other members of the client’s finance team (accountants, bookkeepers, etc.) • Create and regularly update essential client deliverables - annual budgets and multi-year pro forma, cash flow modeling, quarterly performance reports, and tax projections • Consult with clients on strategic and operational decisions, such as capital structure, revenue modeling, staffing plans, exit planning, service offerings, and fundraising readiness, providing structured recommendations and clear rationale • Support transaction and investment workflows by conducting due diligence on place-based investments, coordinating with founders, foundations, and internal teams, and maintaining tools such as commitment trackers, valuation platforms, and CRM records • Create go-forward financial models to inform capital readiness for small businesses and growth strategy for nonprofits using client-provided financials • Contribute to the development of investment related materials such as pitch books, investment memos, and client data rooms based on in-depth due diligence findings • Support company valuation reports by using tools like RISR and conducting economic research, company competitor analyses, DCF analyses Skills • 4+ years relevant experience; candidates with past experience directly in accounting, tax, or business consulting will be given a preference • Bachelors' degree from an accredited institution • Exceptional Excel skills and comfort manipulating large amounts of financial data • Detail-Oriented – You sweat the small stuff and take pride in your work • Curious – You have a thirst for learning and eager to continue developing as a professional • Translator – You can take a complex idea and make it easy to understand • Structure – You prefer to create and execute processes that are repeatable and scalable • Unselfish – You enjoy partnering with others in pursuit of a larger goal, not personal successes • Completion and/or progress toward a Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst Certification will be given a preference Benefits • 15 days paid time off • One day off to celebrate your birthday • 15 holidays observed by the NYSE • Employer contributions to a retirement plan • Healthcare premiums (e.g. medical, dental, etc.) • Reimbursement for up to $1,000 to engage in continuing education • Company-owned laptop (Apple or Lenovo) Company Overview • Zenith Wealth Partners aims to deliver objective advice and education that creates financial success for their clients.
