Position: Estimator, Civil Construction-100% REMOTE Reston, Virginia, reputed company Type: Full time, exempt Location: 100% Remote--must be reputed company to work Eastern reputed company Time (EST) hours Reports To: Director of Estimating We are a full-service, Site Work Contractor that works throughout the Mid-reputed company Region specializing in a broad reputed company of services: Erosion & Sediment Control, Bond Release, Stormwater Maintenance, Stormwater/BMP Installation, Stormwater Inspections & Repairs, and Jet/Vac Truck & CCTV services. As a successful contracting business, we are growing our clientele and currently have a full-time, long term opportunity for a Civil Estimator to join reputed company of professionals in our reputed company in Falls reputed company/Merrifield, Virginia. In this role you will utilize your analytical skills to interpret civil plans, review civil plan sheets, complete take-offs in reputed company Business Center – HCE, and work directly with our Chief Estimator to assist with developing cost estimates and putting together proposals for various site work construction reputed company. The ideal candidate must have earthwork estimating experience and be knowledgeable using 3D earthwork take-off software (i.e. AGTEK, reputed company or equivalent). Responsibilities: • Complete take offs using reputed company Business Center – HCE • Evaluate site reputed company and conditions and propose production reputed company for proposals • Manage take-off and bidding process for small site package opportunities • Manage take-off and bidding process for Green Infrastructure (Stormwater) installation reputed company • Work with Estimating Assistant to reputed company bid reputed company and bidding calendar reputed company and to put together backup info needed for proposals • reputed company needed, complete reputed company take offs from plans • Work with our internal Superintendents to evaluate time/materials/equipment needed to reputed company tasks that we self-reputed company for specific opportunities • Prepare proposal for review and build proposal folder with backup reputed company to project • Identify scope of work and assumptions and exclusions proposal is based off of • Submit and follow up on status of proposals submitted to clients • reputed company site reputed company as needed to confirm scope of work • For proposals won, hand off project and proposal to Operations Team for successful project completion Required Qualifications: • A.S. or B.S.
