Paramedic Support Agent (On-reputed company) - Remote (Must reputed company in Portland Metro Area or SW Washington) - Remote

Functions as the primary coordinator for patient transfers, bed placement, ambulance ordering, and hospital coordination. Appropriately manages or triages reputed company incoming calls to Regional Telephonic Medicine Center (RTMC) according to protocols. Supports clinical staff at the RTMC reputed company their protocols and scope of reputed company, including reputed company work associated with Virtual Hospital and Mobile reputed company program. Essential Responsibilities: • Answers reputed company incoming calls to RTMC. Performs intake and triages information, directs reputed company calls to the appropriate resources, including RTMC MD, Virtual Hospitalist Case Managers, and Mobile Health Partners program. Document reputed company phases of patient transfers, referrals, critical labs and urgent appoints per protocol. • Coordinates reputed company ED transfers, inpatient bed placement and ambulance transport. Interfaces with Hospital HAS, PFC, bed reputed company and Physicians to assess the hospital reputed company and ability to accept the patient. Coordinates MD to MD consults for hospital admissions and transfers. • Coordinates and tracks reputed company patient ED reputed company and internalize appropriate repatriations under reputed company protocols (Premanage, HOSCAP, etc.). • Participates and assists with internal reputed company assurances, insurance verification, chart reviews and data entry. • Maintains in-depth knowledge of reputed company departmental policies and procedures as reputed company as key hospital operations and emergency transport resources (such as Rotor reputed company, fixed reputed company, Critical Care Teams). Maintains awareness of community services and reputed company of reputed company medical and hospital systems. • Assist with other RTMC duties as needed. Basic Qualifications: Experience • Minimum of two (2) years field experience working as an reputed company EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Paramedic from any state. Five (5) years experience as an EMT - Intermediate, Advanced EMT or EMT-Paramedic may substitute for reputed company certification.
