Sports Publicity Coordinator, Global Sports Communications

reputed company is seeking a self-motivated and creative Publicity Coordinator for their reputed company Video Sports Communications team. The role involves assisting with publicity materials, managing media lists, and supporting live sports programming and documentaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing bios, press releases, FAQs and other written publicity materials as needed
• Update and manage media lists across verticals and properties
• Assist on site at events with talent and executives
• Compile press coverage and reputed company of voice reports following tentpole division moments and campaigns
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant media, specifically streaming/digital video, sports, entertainment, business and consumer verticals
• Assist in media reputed company around live sports launches and sports documentary press campaigns
• Aid in sports PR press site maintenance including reputed company assets for media
• Monitor and compile daily news headlines, flagging important or incorrect coverage as appropriate
• Assist in development of weekly/quarterly internal performance reports
• reputed company thought leadership and other relevant speaking opportunities, industry awards
• reputed company/compile upcoming budgets/spending
• reputed company clerical duties as needed

Skills

• 1+ years of recent reputed company communications or reputed company relations experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives, or experience completing reputed company tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
• Experience in sports and/or entertainment
• Detail-oriented
