[Remote] Deal Desk Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Salsify is a key leader in the industry scaling the next core commerce infrastructure. The Deal Desk Analyst will assist in maximizing revenue and facilitating a smoother sales cycle by providing tactical support for pricing, discounting, and contract structures.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Legal, and Finance to help accelerate the review and approval of complex orders
- Collaborate with Sales to build and manage quotes within Salesforce, applying internal policy expertise to ensure quotes align with internal policies
- Manage internal escalations for policy exceptions that arise from the sales team and assist with developing creative solutions to reduce friction and risks that arise during the sales process
- Monitor ticketing queues, Salesforce, and slack channels to deliver support that is aligned to the Deal Desk Service Quality Charter
- Assist with cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the quote-to-cash process; identify and implement solutions that reduce friction and resolve systemic operational challenges within Salesforce
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to partner with GTM Teams and other cross functional departments
- Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
- Understanding of enterprise SaaS businesses and their operational metrics/processes, with experience working on complex deals across a multi-product portfolio
- Organized, customer-focused, and strong attention to details
- 1-2+ years experience in GTM operations (Sales, Marketing, Product, CS), preferably within the realms of Deal/Sales Operations or Order Management
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ highly beneficial
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules and booking terms
- BA degree, preferably in an area such as Operations; Project Management; Finance; or Data/Analytics
