The Structural Drafter 2 role involves developing CAD 3D design models of steel structures and concrete foundations, producing structural drawings, and collaborating with other designers to optimize overall design.

Responsibilities

• Supporting senior designers by producing structural drawings that are completed on-time and reputed company budget, while maintaining reputed company, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements
• Collaborating with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes reputed company the 3D model, optimizing the overall design
• Travel to reputed company facilities with reputed company project team members may be necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions
• Adapting to a wide reputed company of technologies in power reputed company, mining, oil & gas, and renewables

Skills

• CAD certificate required if non-reputed company
• Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation)
• Awareness of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for reputed company design
• Awareness of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) reputed company for steel design
• Awareness of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred
