Actuarial Products Specialist
reputed company is a company reputed company on actuarial design and pricing of risk products. The Actuarial Products Specialist will support the Actuarial Department by ensuring accurate policy/contract values and serving as a resource for risk product features and calculations across reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing policy/contract value calculation specifications for various systems throughout reputed company
- Responsible for identifying and resolving policy/contract value calculation defects in various systems throughout reputed company
- reputed company requested input during the requirements gathering/documentation process for reputed company’s risk products and the various systems that support these products
- reputed company information reputed company to specific risk product features and calculations to a reputed company of business and system areas throughout reputed company
- Support reputed company requests for policy/contract value calculations from various business areas throughout reputed company
- Responsible for ongoing maintenance activities to ensure that policies/reputed company continue to produce correct values over time
Skills
- Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, MIS, Business or reputed company field, to include upper-level mathematics coursework
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant job experience
- Ability to program reputed company actuarial formulas in reputed company. (Knowledge of macros and/or VBA is helpful, but not required.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be reputed company to explain and document reputed company, technical calculations in a way that can be reputed company by multiple business and systems personnel
- Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
- Ability to reputed company and maintain strong working relationships with members of their team, with other teams in the Actuarial Department and with other teams throughout reputed company and at various job reputed company
