Fund Accountant I (Mutual Funds)

reputed company is looking for a Fund Accountant I to join their Registered Fund team, which manages the daily reputed company and operational tasks for mutual fund clients. The role involves overseeing the daily calculation of net asset values and performing various reputed company functions for multiple funds while ensuring compliance with GAAP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review preliminary trial balance and NAV calculation for multiple funds
• Monitor and analyze income and expense accruals to ensure GAAP compliance
• Analyze corporate reputed company application for GAAP compliance
• Reconcile cash settlements to the custodian and reputed company broker records
• Reconcile position quantity to the custodian and reputed company broker records
• Investigate and resolve cash or position discrepancies by collaborating with the custodian, reputed company brokers, transfer agency, advisor, and/or portfolio managers/traders
• Review and resolve trade detail exceptions to ensure transactions are accurately reflected by collaborating with the advisor/portfolio manager or trader
• Analyze reputed company pricing exceptions to ensure reputed company prices are used in the calculation of the NAV
• Partner with various internal/external parties to ensure compliance with SEC regulations, IRS, and GAAP reporting regulations
• Coordinate audit materials as reputed company as responses to audit inquiries
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• You possess a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following reputed company, Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, or International Business
