About the Role

As our first dedicated Customer Support Representative, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our customer support system and processes. You will be the face of arenaflex, interacting with our customers, resolving their queries, and ensuring that they have an exceptional experience with our app. Your input and ideas will be invaluable in helping us build a robust support framework that will enable us to deliver world-class service to our merchants. Moreover, as a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to explore other aspects of the business and potentially switch roles in the future, allowing you to grow both personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via live chat or email, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems and ensuring that they are satisfied with our app and services
  • Continuously learn about the features of our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to enhance your knowledge and provide better support to our customers
  • Summarize product feedback from merchants and suggest new ways to improve our app, contributing to its growth and development
  • Perform non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, or creating mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests
  • Collaborate with the team to build and refine our customer support processes, ensuring that we consistently deliver exceptional service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • A passion for helping people and resolving their problems, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenging customers and situations
  • Proficiency in discussing technical concepts at a high level, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Basic knowledge of CSS and JS, with a willingness to learn more if needed
  • Ability and willingness to write technical documentation and articles, contributing to our knowledge base and blog
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to perform non-CS related tasks and wear multiple hats as needed
  • Availability to work with at least a 4-hour overlap with GMT+7 9am-6pm

Nice to Have

While not essential, the following skills and experiences would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working with Shopify, particularly in theme development or customization
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS companies, with a understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this space
  • Proficiency in additional languages, such as French, Spanish, or Italian, to cater to our diverse customer base
  • Other skills that can be beneficial to a startup, such as marketing, SEO, video editing, or design
