Institutional Loan Portfolio Analyst

Connexus offers an Amazing Benefits package: • 25 days of paid time off and 8 paid holidays • 16 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off • 401K Retirement with up to 6% employer match • Excellent Health, Dental, Vision insurance, including multiple plan options • Health Savings Account with generous employer contributions • Employer paid Life insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability • Tuition Reimbursement from $4,000 - $7,000 per calendar year • Robust Learning and Development program that includes an annual professional development stipend Responsibilities: • Create performance management reporting packets and dashboards to provide leadership with insights on Institutional Lending Program performance for both new originations and the existing book of business. • Review yield and variance reports for management, research and work with Finance to identify variance causes. • Reviews monthly loan trial balances and servicing reports to identify data quality concerns and work with Data and Insights team to ensure integrity of lending data. • Assist with the annual budget process for the Revenue Office including Institutional Lending. Document assumptions and lead engagement with Finance in preparation of forecasts. • Collaborate with the Credit Risk team to identify emerging risk trends in the Institutional Lending Portfolio and engage with ILP leadership to develop response plans. • Analyze new program lending opportunities under consideration in comparison to risk adjusted yield targets, compliance with lending policies and risk tolerance. • Use analytical tools to build automation in processes to ensure staff time and attention is devoted primarily to risk reducing and revenue generating activities rather than data input. • Document processes and procedures to ensure all processes are auditable and repeatable. • Assist with special projects, financial analyses, and forecasting. Position Requirements: • This position is Remote. • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience is Required. • 3+ years of analyst experience within a financial institution is Required. • Requires advanced skills in excel and report running, with a solid understanding of database principles. • Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions. • Proficient Excel experience is Required.
