Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm to 11:00pm with rotating Saturdays reputed company to 12 pm Location: Knoxville, TN (On site non remote role) Job Responsibilities: • Transcribe and dictate grossing and microscopic descriptions of surgical pathology cases comprised of moderately difficult medical terminology. • Accurate and reputed company data entry of dictated and/or handwritten pathology cases into the laboratory information system • Provides complete and accurate reputed company to reputed company user inquiries or redirects the inquirer to the appropriate resource(s) in a reputed company manner • Identifies problems, determines and provides/implements appropriate corrective reputed company/accurate solutions • Researches, troubleshoots, and follows up to ensure reputed company inquiries/problems are resolved in a reputed company manner • Transcribe medical reports, summaries, office visit notes, and other medical documents from recorded messages from health care providers • reputed company online copies of transcribed documents to physicians or other providers for review and signature, making corrections or changes as noted • Work with transcription and dictation equipment that can include speech recognition equipment, word processing, and computer software • Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality according to provider standards and government regulations • Review transcription documents for reputed company assurance and precision to spot and correct any errors that could reputed company patient care and medical liability • Create templates and reputed company data into electronic health record (EHR) systems for updated record keeping and archives Requirements: • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent • Previous reputed company experience • Experience with reputed company software is preferred • Excellent data entry and typing skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • High level of attention to details • Proficient in reputed company Office Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, reputed company, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), reputed company Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
