JOB DESCRIPTION Job DescriptionSalary:Job Title: Remote Hospital Pharmacist - Full-Time - Night ShiftLocation:RemoteAbout the Company:Welcome to PharmD on Demand, where innovation meets health care excellence.Since 2006, weve been redefining pharmaceutical services with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.We pride ourselves on fostering a company culture where team members have the opportunity to develop personally and advance professionally in a team-focused and servant oriented environment.PharmD on Demand partners with Aletheia Health Partners to enhance rural healthcare by integrating high-quality pharmacy services with strategic advisory support, ensuring both patient safety and hospital sustainability.Join us in shaping the future of health care and making a meaningful impact at Job Description: Were seeking a full-time experienced Remote Hospital Pharmacist to join our team to work a 7-on-7-off night shift position.The ideal candidate is someone who possesses strong attention to detail, communication skills, and time management.We offer a competitive pay rate, with potential adjustments based on experience and qualifications, as well as the opportunity for advancement, employee recognition, and team collaboration.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:• Reviews and monitors all new medication orders (electronic and written) for accuracy in dosing, drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapy, rational drug therapy and incompatibilities.• Provides pharmaceutical care to all ages of patients from newborns to the elderly.Understands that there are dosage variations between newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients and knows where to find appropriate information.• Effectively communicates with on-site staff to resolve medication-related issues such as dosage adjustments, clarification requests, drug interactions, and duplications of therapy.• Demonstrates ability to document clinical interventions.• Provides information and support to on-site staff regarding the admixture or compounding of medications upon request.• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medication-related errors.• Answers questions and provides information to physicians, nurses, patients and other healthcare professionals on the appropriate use of medications, drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage, etc.• Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity.Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families.Position Requirements:• Current GA Pharmacy License• Hospital Pharmacy Experience Required• Remote Pharmacy Experience PreferredOur Ideal Candidate:• Good at multi-tasking• Ability to work independently and as a team• Good time-management skills• Ability to work under pressure• Organized, flexible, and good customer service skills• Technologically savvy• Excellent Communication Skills• Willingness to reciprocate to other states• Willingness to work across multiple EHR platforms• Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on DemandScheduleDetails:• 7 on / 7 off shift• Mon-Fri 6:00pm-5:00am Sat-Sun 6:00pm-6:00am (subject to change)Top benefits: As a team member at PharmD on Demand, youll enjoy:• Comprehensive benefits package• Continuing education support• Paid time off• Growth opportunities• Positive work environment Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
