Senior Accountant - Hybrid first; then remote
Position: Senior Accountant
Salary: $90,000-$110,000
Applicants must live in MA or Southern NH/ME

• In-Office Requirements: Based at the North Shore headquarters, with access to offices across Massachusetts, the Staff Accountant will spend 2–3 days per week in the office during the first few months. Afterward, you’ll enjoy the option to work remotely.
The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• * Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by Staff Accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage intercompany transactions, including the reconciliation, settlement, and documentation of balances across multiple entities.
• Lead the consolidated month-end close process, including preparation of elimination entries and consolidated financial reporting packages.
• Provide technical accounting guidance, oversee complex accounting activities, and support internal and external financial reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
• * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger, month‑end close, and financial reporting; experience in a multi‑entity environment is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience working with modern ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to review and oversee the work of junior team members, providing guidance and ensuring accuracy
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present information clearly
