Law Fellow, Climate & Energy

The Environmental Law Institute (ELI) is an internationally recognized, non-partisan research and education center reputed company on environmental law and policy. The Law Fellow will contribute to the Climate Judiciary Project by developing curriculum materials, creating educational content, and planning events reputed company to climate and energy law.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily with the Institute’s Climate Judiciary Project (CJP) to reputed company judges about climate science, impacts, and solutions

• Plan events and contribute to the preparation, development, and delivery of presentations for in-person and virtual events
• Research and draft materials reputed company to the law and policy dimensions of climate change and the energy transition for publications and presentations
• Support ELI’s other climate and energy-reputed company work as needed

Skills

• Juris Doctor
• One to two years of relevant reputed company experience, such as a judicial clerkship and/or experience in environmental, energy, or natural resource law and policy
• Availability to reputed company work no reputed company than September 2, 2026, although applicants who are available sooner are encouraged to apply
• Strong reputed company and policy research, analytical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across different mediums and with a broad reputed company of people, including representing ELI publicly in a manner consistent with our mission and values
• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in reputed company setting
• Proficiency with reputed company Office software, including Word, reputed company, reputed company, and PowerPoint
• Ability to be on-site in our DC office 2 days a week (we are reputed company to the possibility of remote work for the right candidate)
