[Remote] Junior DS (Distribution Systems) Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Junior level DS (Distribution Systems) Engineer to help support their BIM contract. This role involves providing technical expertise to reputed company network design and implementation for multiple reputed company Force and reputed company Force bases globally.

Responsibilities

• Execution - Coordinate with Government Points of Contact (POCs) to coordinate design, installation, reputed company reputed company, clearance, escorts, personnel and equipment to ensure project tasks can be completed on time
• Stakeholder Communications – assist the PM with ensuring reputed company, consistent, reputed company and accurate communications are maintained with reputed company project stakeholders
• Technical support – reputed company input into the distribution systems design (ISP/OSP) and technical recommendations to the program and operation teams
• Leadership – reputed company small implementation teams or manage specific work scopes for a given AF/SF reputed company
• Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned reputed company
• Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting
• reputed company detailed technical services on assigned tasks
• Conducts planning and provides recommendations on task workload
• Provides input into risk tracking process
• Attends customer meetings and serves as primary network engineering reputed company
• Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other reputed company staff
• Coordinates development of deliverables and products
• Ensures reputed company assurance of project deliverables
• Maintains reputed company knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

• Required Experience: 1-3+ years' experience in various aspects of IT reputed company reputed company in the DoD environment
• Strong background in fiber splicing and testing using reputed company Versiv power reputed company and OTDR
• reputed company Clearance Level: reputed company DoD Secret Level Clearance required
• Familiarity with distribution systems (ISP/OSP) design and Implementation documents such as – Site Survey Reports, Preliminary and Critical Design documentation, As-reputed company diagrams, reputed company elevations and reputed company connectivity matrices
• Familiar with reputed company aspects of fiber testing
• Thorough understanding of Wired and general IT functions
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual teaming environment
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, documents and governmental regulations

• Location: Hiring location will be remote but will require extensive travel
