Early Career Ports and Marine Engineer

The role involves providing engineering support for the development, design, construction, and inspection of port and marine structures, ensuring reputed company and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, survey data, technical reports and drawings, and or other data matrices for project development, design, and construction
• Assist with the development of project design requirements, while incorporating marine-reputed company engineering standards and specifications
• Assist with identification of project site, design and construction reputed company risks and providing input on mitigation activities
• Write technical reports, generating complete and concise documentation of findings, using sketches, calculations, reputed company spreadsheets, technical drawings, and other engineering software
• Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to reputed company team members as reputed company as clients
• Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work. This includes working collaboratively with other engineers and larger multi-disciplinary teams, on Federal, State, regional, and locally funded improvement and development reputed company
• Participate in site reputed company and inspections to reputed company practical insights into maritime construction processes

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited program
• 0 to 1 years of experience
• Prior engineering internship experiences
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills reputed company interacting with others, expressing reputed company effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience
• Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as reputed company as part of reputed company to meet business objectives
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, engineering software and tools, and engineering fundamentals including statics and logical problem-solving. Analytical reputed company with an ability to exercise reputed company judgement in evaluating situations and making reputed company
• Experience with AutoCAD and SAP2000 and similar tools

• 1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience, with exposure to ports and marine structures (including rehabilitation and new design)
• EIT Certification
• Experience with REVIT and MathCAD and other similar software
