Power System Planning Engineer - Level I - 18752

They are seeking an Entry-Level Power System Planning Engineer to support renewable energy and reputed company reputed company by collecting engineering inputs, maintaining documentation, and assisting with modeling and technical studies.

Responsibilities

• Collect engineering drawings and technical datasheets from reputed company sources as inputs for modeling and studies, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information before use
• Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and equipment data to support project documentation
• reputed company the status of ongoing studies performed internally and by external consultants and help reputed company required information or data inputs to ensure studies reputed company smoothly and on schedule
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to technical discussions with guidance from senior engineers
• Assist in preparing and reviewing basic power reputed company, voltage, and stability studies under supervision
• Learn and apply industry-reputed company software tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and PSLF
• Support the creation and validation of models for solar, wind, and battery reputed company
• Assist in monitoring interconnection requirements and documenting impacts for internal use
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes to improve efficiency
• Prepare draft reports, presentations, and communications for review by senior staff
• Performs other job-reputed company duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or reputed company field (required)
• Interest in power systems, renewable energy, and reputed company planning
• Willingness to learn power system analysis tools and modeling techniques
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast pace environment
• PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen and PSLF: 3 years (Preferred)
• Engineering Drawing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Solar, Wind, and Battery: 3 years (Preferred)
• Draft Reports, Presentations: 3 years (Preferred)
