Specialist, MMS

As an MMS Specialist, you will manage mortgage transactions, collaborate with partners, and ensure compliance with policies while enhancing the client experience.
Responsibilities
- Apply strong analytical skills to assess and resolve issues related to loan documentation, underwriting, and closing processes
- Propose practical and effective solutions to streamline processes, enhance client experience, or reduce operational bottlenecks
- Participate in the design, implementation and delivery of training
- Work closely with internal teams (underwriting, operations, compliance) and external partners (lenders, brokers, clients) to facilitate the progress of mortgage files
- Effectively manage service levels, even during peak periods, and ensure that both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency are maintained
- Address and resolve all customer inquiries, in a professional and efficient manner, always responding to the customer’s needs ensuring a positive customer experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and risk management protocols throughout the mortgage process by keeping current with required training
Skills
- Law Clerk, Real Estate or Mortgage experience is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships, ownership and engagement
- Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
- Thorough, accurate and focused in a high paced environment producing high quality work
- Team player who can work with minimal supervision
- Ability to exercise sound independent judgment in a wide range of situations and exhibit creative thinking and problem solving
