Your expertise in big data, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies will enable you to drive business growth and customer satisfaction through data-driven insights. Your key responsibilities will include: * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop data solutions that meet business requirements * Developing and implementing data warehousing solutions using Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, and other cloud-based technologies * Designing and implementing ETL pipelines in large data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) * Developing and maintaining data models for the data warehouse and data shops * Collaborating with data architects, data modelers, and data engineers to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions * Maintaining detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data governance * Ensuring high operational productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis groups) * Participating in agile/scrum practices to ensure team health and cycle improvements **Key Capabilities:** * Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets * Experience with distributed frameworks like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data * Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala * Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query) * Strong experience with data integration toolsets (i.e. Wind current) and writing and maintaining data pipelines * Strong knowledge of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard practices and processes * Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches * You are a problem solver with strong analytical and logical skills **Ideal Candidate:** * Experience with cloud technologies like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2) is a plus * Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles * Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and experienced data engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
