Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell air travel services to the traveling public or freight forwarders
- Provide assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance
- Interpret authority's guidelines and requirements for domestic and international travel or shipment shipments
- Meet and dispatch aircraft within set-up times
- Provide support to troubled passengers and clients
- Protect company properties and revenue
- Ensure a safe travel experience for all clients
- Possess the physical capability and dexterity to perform various job-related tasks
- Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period
- Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
- Respond and assist during safety and emergency situations
- Follow internal and external regulations and procedures
- May be required to drive and operate air stairs to enplane and deplane passengers
- Responsible for the overall performance within the work location and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees
- May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air-to-ground communication as well as Tower functions
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations
- Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be able to obtain airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
- Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must report to work on a regular and timely basis
