You'll work closely with our Examination Architects, Information Researchers, and Computer programmers to create data pipelines that deliver high-quality information to our business stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and build a scalable information model that supports our advertising business * Collaborate with partners to identify needs, model tables using programming and data warehouse best practices, and develop data pipelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality information * Own key components of Netflix's Advertisements information model, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes * Work with Examination Architects, Information Researchers, and Computer programmers to create data indexes that serve analysis and reporting needs intuitively * Foster best practices for data management, including data governance, data quality, and data security * Build strong and collaborative relationships with data researchers, analysis specialists, and AI experts **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building scalable and robust information models * Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++ * Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data transformation for both batch and streaming data * Familiarity with large data technologies, including Hadoop, Flash, Pig, Hive, Voila, and others * Experience with obtaining and displaying data from application APIs * Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building scalable and robust information models * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure * Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies * Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data architecture **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment * Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities * Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles * Familiarity with data visualization tools and data storytelling techniques **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
