Job Overview

We are seeking full-time and seasonal Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our team. As a representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, managing customer accounts, and offering technical assistance. You will also be required to complete application data entry, respond to online chat inquiries, and interpret and follow defined procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
  • Manage customer accounts and provide technical support to resolve issues and answer questions
  • Complete application data entry accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to online chat inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Effectively manage time and tasks, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines
  • Commit to extensive self-study, training, and testing to ensure eligibility to proceed through training and certifications

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s
  • Have a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
  • Have a personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period
  • Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period
  • Complete a background check and health screening
  • Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite internet are not compatible)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills
  • High level of comfort learning new technology
  • High level of professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working from home
  • Self-motivated and success-driven

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support role
  • Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
  • Previous experience in a call center
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish bilingual skills (a plus)

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including:

  • Base pay: $14.50 per hour
  • Enhanced rate: $16.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance
  • Spanish bilingual base pay: $15.50 per hour
  • Spanish bilingual enhanced rate: $17.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance
