Offchain Labs has developed a suite of scaling solutions for Ethereum. This includes Arbitrum, an Optimistic Rollup, that instantly scales apps, reducing costs and increasing capacity, without sacrificing Ethereum’s security. Porting contracts to Arbitrum requires no code changes or downloads since it’s compatible with existing Ethereum developer languages and tooling. Arbitrum today is the leading Ethereum scaling solution with dominant market share including hundreds of apps on the platform and over 40% of all rollup liquidity. Offchain labs also contributes to the Ethereum core protocol with the Prysm consensus client. Who you are: • You possess extensive production experience with Golang. • You have a high level or solid understanding of Ethereum L1 core development and blockchain designs. • You exhibit a strong sense of ownership in your work, driving you to find ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • You are always up-to-date on the latest technologies. • You are continuously exploring new and innovative approaches to solving complex problems through thorough experimentation. • Your communication style is open, transparent, and direct, fostering tight collaboration with your teammates. • You are receptive to feedback, new ideas, and opportunities for self-improvement. • You actively seek ways to contribute beyond the boundaries of your day-to-day responsibilities. What you’ve done: • You have made significant contributions to the products you have worked on throughout your career. • You have engaged with, educated yourself on, or gained experience working with blockchain technology. • You are enthusiastic about translating cutting-edge research into practical applications and contributing to the development of a platform for the next generation of cryptocurrency applications. • You have experience working with compilers, designing systems, and developing SDKs. • You prioritize security and consistently remain vigilant for potential threats and vulnerabilities in your code. • You have mastered computer science fundamentals, either through a formal university program or self-directed learning.
