Responsibilities
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies for nonprofit partners
• Support community-based campaigns, outreach events, and promotional initiatives
• Represent nonprofit clients at local events, engaging with community members and communicating key messages
• Help create, organize, and distribute marketing materials, signage, and promotional content
• Contribute to social media posts, email campaigns, and outreach messaging
• Track engagement metrics , collect feedback, and assist with performance reporting
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event operations and consistent brand messaging
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional, positive presence
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required— comprehensive paid training provided
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organized, and eager to learn the fundamentals of marketing and communications
• Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends for events
Nice-to-haves
• Coursework or background in marketing, communications, PR, journalism, or related fields
