Engineer – Systems Engineering – Power Cycle Systems
Job reputed company:
• reputed company preliminary and detailed design of mechanical systems on the BWRX-300 including the steam turbine, turbine auxiliaries, main condenser, condensate, and feedwater systems.
• Support mechanical systems design and/or equipment procurement and construction activities, including requirements definition, process calculations and analysis, P&ID preparation, model review, vendor and reputed company coordination, and review and approval of vendor document submittals.
• Incorporate component and product design requirements into analyses and design deliverables.
• Support the BWRX-300 certification processes for GE Products to address reputed company US NRC (or other nuclear regulator) design certification requirements.
• Have other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Work reputed company reputed company environment to execute work plans reputed company budget and schedule.
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/reputed company.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering role, with work in mechanical or process system design
• Eligibility Requirements: No travel requirement. Opportunities for travel may occur.
• For US this role requires reputed company to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for reputed company to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
• For Canada GE will only reputed company those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening.
• Experience in nuclear system design activities including development of process reputed company diagrams, thermodynamic and heat/fluid reputed company transfer calculations, engineering specifications, etc.
• Engineer-in-Training in the reputed company or Canada
• Must have reputed company authorization to work in Canada and any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
