Industrial Designer Needed – Product Drawings for Small HDPE Outdoor Product
I’m developing a small outdoor rainwater product and need an industrial / product designer to create clear, proportion-accurate drawings to hand off to my engineer. This is NOT a branding or graphic design project. I need functional product drawings, not marketing renders. Scope of Work • Refine proportions based on an existing concept • Create orthographic drawings: • Front • Side • Back • Top • Show body, cradle, and removable legs • Drawings must be manufacturing-aware (blow-molded HDPE body) Product Overview • Small rainwater container • Outdoor / patio product • Material: HDPE • Body will be blow molded • Legs and cradle are separate components • Smooth, modern, patio-friendly aesthetic I will provide: • Reference images • Dimensions • Notes on mold constraints • Engineer feedback if needed Deliverables • Clean line drawings (PDF preferred) • Proportion-correct views suitable for engineering handoff • Optional: basic CAD familiarity (Fusion 360 / STEP) is a plus, not required Required Experience • Industrial or product design (consumer products) • Experience with plastic products • Understanding of manufacturing constraints • Clear communication and ability to follow exact instructions Apply tot his job
