Role Description
The company is looking for a dynamic business development representative to spearhead its growth as a startup. This pivotal role involves leading prospecting and outreach efforts. As one of their first non-engineering hires, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our growth strategy.
• Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients through strategic outreach initiatives (e.g., LinkedIn, cold calling, events, conferences, etc.).
• Relationship Building: Establish and nurture connections with key decision-makers, including executives, directors, and procurement teams.
• Content Creation: Develop engaging content, such as case studies that showcase customer success, product tour videos, tutorials, and targeted email campaigns, to effectively communicate the benefits of our AI solutions.
Qualifications
• At least three years of experience in business development or sales roles, ideally within the B2B SaaS or AI technology sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully prospecting and closing deals with large enterprises.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles.
Requirements
• Comfortable with the technical aspects of generative AI and can translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Self-starter with a talent for innovative problem solving and project management.
• Able to juggle multiple initiatives without compromising quality.
• Strong network of contacts within Fortune 500 companies and ability to build new relationships quickly.
