Water Engineering Intern

Support municipal water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects as an Engineering Intern with GHD’s Process Mechanical Municipal team. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Supporting project engineers and managers in planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects • Conducting field investigations and performing engineering studies and cost evaluations • Compiling data and assisting with CADD drawings and facility layouts • Supporting design calculations and contributing to engineering solutions design and feasibility testing • Producing accurate reports by collecting and inputting data from standard sources • Creating engineering drawings under guidance for communication and implementation of solutions • Following health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies and promoting safe working methods • Researching and recommending technical developments to improve infrastructure and software • Participating in research, testing standards development, project management support, and waste management efforts • Conducting routine technical troubleshooting and basic diagnostic tasks • Working in a hybrid model with three days per week in-office collaboration About You The company is looking for: • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering • Very limited work experience (0 to 3 months) • No managerial experience required Training & Development • Opportunities to develop capabilities through assessment, development planning, formal and informal training, and coaching • Ongoing education including attending conferences and reading specialist media to maintain understanding of relevant technology, regulations, and industry best practices How to Apply Submit your application as instructed in the job posting.
