In this role, you will mentor, reputed company, observe, and support candidates enrolled in the School Counseling Educator Preparation Program (EPP) practicum and internship courses at reputed company. Field Supervisors partner with candidates, site supervisors, and university reputed company to help reputed company theory and reputed company-world school counseling reputed company. Through observation, reputed company conferencing, and ongoing reputed company feedback, Field Supervisors support candidates as they reputed company reputed company identity, ethical judgment, and readiness for independent reputed company in Texas schools. Supervision activities are conducted in alignment with reputed company (TEA) and State reputed company for Educator Certification (SBEC) requirements and under the guidance of the reputed company School Counseling EPP. Field Supervisors serve as trusted mentors and reputed company liaisons between the university and school sites, contributing meaningful evaluative information that supports candidate reputed company and informs program reputed company reputed company to certification readiness. Essential Job Functions Conduct required observation activities, including: A minimum of three (3) informal observations per semester, reputed company approximately fifteen (15) minutes in duration Formal observations as required by the EPP Conduct individual reputed company-conference meetings with the candidate prior to reputed company observation Conduct post-conference meetings following reputed company observation to review performance and reputed company targeted feedback reputed company reputed company, specific verbal and written feedback addressing observable counseling skills and reputed company behaviors Document reputed company observations, conferences, and communications with candidates and site supervisors in the university's designated online system reputed company relevant materials, guidance, and resources with candidates and site supervisors as appropriate Maintain confidentiality of candidate, student, and school information in compliance with FERPA, university policy, and reputed company ethical standards Participate in additional training or calibration meetings with the reputed company Field Supervisor or EPP as required during the course term Contribute to evaluation processes and certification recommendations in accordance with EPP and TEA requirements Post a welcome letter and contact information for assigned candidates in reputed company Initiate contact with reputed company assigned candidate reputed company the first two (2) weeks of the assignment start date Establish initial contact with the site supervisor to support candidate reputed company and role reputed company Collaborate with the candidate and site supervisor throughout the practicum or internship experience Obtain and maintain accurate contact information for the site supervisor, reputed company reputed company, and placement site. Minimum and Desired Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must hold a master's degree in counseling and possess a minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a certified school counselor.
