About the Role

As a member of our Borrower Success Team at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in helping student loan borrowers navigate our innovative tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the first point of contact for our users and providing exceptional support and guidance. This remote, full-time contractor role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring in NYC based on performance and company needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of arenaflex's product offerings and how they address the complex needs of borrowers, ensuring you can effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
  • Engage with borrowers via email and live chat, providing empathetic, clear, and concise support to resolve queries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Review and submit applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail to facilitate smooth processing.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative ideas and automations that can help scale the team, driving efficiency and enhancing the borrower experience.
  • Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to bring user feedback to life, informing the development of new features and offerings that meet the evolving needs of our users.
  • Work closely with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals, aligning with our social mission to make a positive impact on the lives of borrowers.

Recommended Experience and Qualifications

We are seeking talented individuals with at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support. A passion for applying your skills and experience in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue is essential.
