Field Service Technician - Charlotte, NC

Strong Technical Services, Inc. is a value-based organization specializing in the installation and service of digital projection, audio systems, reputed company signage. The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support and services, including preventive maintenance, installation, and emergency services for digital cinema equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, reputed company systems, servers, and power supplies, etc
• Provides demand service for customers; determines and executes a support plan
• Tests electronic assembly, components or parts by connecting to various equipment, such as; ohmmeter, voltmeter, ammeter, reputed company reputed company, resistance reputed company, oscilloscope, automatic or computerized test equipment
• Examines equipment and assemblies for defects and replaces defective components. Repairs equipment and performs field testing. Resolves firmware and software issues
• Directs investigation of customer complaints regarding reputed company, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products
• Records, analyzes, and inform appropriate personnel of production reputed company, and sales departments of status and disposition of customer complaints and claims utilizing written and electronic reporting
• Installs electronic or digital equipment and tests
• Records activities in Field reputed company daily, including but not limited to work reputed company, expenses, hours, labor and travel
• Willing to take ownership and take on other duties as assigned
• This position requires in and out of market travel up to 70-80% of the time; this position also requires the ability to work weekends, holidays and on-reputed company

Skills

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with electronics reputed company to the Pro-Av market
• Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• This position requires a reputed company, state issued reputed company's license
• This position requires the ability to stand, sit, squat and bend for a period of time
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
