**Responsibilities:**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
* Processing prescriptions, including entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying accuracy
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, medication lists, and inventory levels
* Registering sales, processing voids, returns, and exchanges, and handling customer transactions
* Assisting with inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to company policies and procedures
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service
* Performing other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Director or Senior Supervisor
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare, business)
* 1-2 years of experience in a retail or healthcare environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate records and process prescriptions efficiently
* Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and pharmacy software
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and improve processes
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* PTCB certification or willingness to obtain
* Experience with pharmacy software and inventory management systems
* Strong numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh prescriptions
* Familiarity with store stock control and inventory management
* Previous experience working with Walgreens or a similar retail pharmacy environment
