Key Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Product Principal - Customer Experience at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will be divided into three main areas: Delivery and Execution, Strategy and Planning, and Team and Stakeholder Management. These responsibilities will include:
- Delivery and Execution (10%): Coordinate with Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and impacted teams to ensure a clear path to scope and alignment. Review recommended solutions and the work of product teams to ensure products align with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities.
- Strategy and Planning (60%): Partner with Cross-Functional Programs or Technology Portfolios to align outcomes, cascade context to leadership, and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs. Lead cross-functional discovery by partnering with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers, and balanced teams. Create, coordinate, and sequence activities to ensure alignment across impacted teams and provide visibility of the work through holistic roadmaps with dependencies.
- Team and Stakeholder Management (30%): Partner with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery. Foster collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value, identify and resolve impediments, and manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping aligns with product strategy. Provide education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of essential and preferred qualifications, including:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 2+ years of previous leadership experience.
