**Experienced Temporary Copy Editor and Data Entry Specialist – K-12 Music Lesson Development**

This role will play a vital part in the development of K-12 music lessons, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and accessibility for educators and students worldwide.

**Job Summary**
As a Temporary Copy Editor and Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and updating pre-written lessons to ensure accuracy and alignment with arenaflex POPP standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and experience in copy editing and lesson planning. You will work collaboratively with a team of content, technology, and education experts to design, document, and distribute online educational lessons that support K-12 educators and students.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Review and format lesson content to ensure consistency in language, voice, and tone
* Edit lesson content to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices
* Enter reviewed and approved lesson content into a Content Management System (CMS) platform and ensure it is displayed correctly and appears as expected
* Track and communicate project progress
* Quality assurance and attention to detail in creating and reviewing work
* Collaborate with the team to design, document, and distribute online educational lessons
* Follow established workflows and editing best practices
* Document workflows and best practices, including contributing to the creation of editing and language guides
**Capabilities Required**
* Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
* Experience in copy editing and lesson planning, with knowledge of educational standards and learning objectives
* Data entry into Learning Management System (LMS) and CMS platforms with the ability to proof and update content as needed
* Knowledge of digital accessibility and inclusion best practices for online learning
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work with excellent efficiency and high quality
* Ability to work collaboratively and take feedback and direction
* Strong "can-do" attitude, demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions
* Knowledge of music-related terminology and/or music experience preferred
* Knowledge of UX design principles to support developing engaging lesson materials preferred
