Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Operations and Customer Center (OCC) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our 24/7 operations, working closely with aviation experts to drive business solutions and ensure seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve customer satisfaction
- Utilize data analysis and problem-solving skills to drive business decisions and optimize processes
- Work with various OCC teams, including Load Control Center and Fuel Strategy, to support airline operations and customer service
- Develop and implement applications and efficiencies to reduce workload and enhance team productivity
- Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field
- Availability to work for at least three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, with a Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM schedule
- Enrollment with an educational institution throughout the term of the co-op program
- Willingness to learn new skills, take calculated risks, and adapt to changing situations
- Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfort working in team and individual settings, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Familiarity with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of airline operations, scheduling, and planning
- Leadership experience, including student and community organizations
