Data & Business Development Analyst (HubSpot-Centric)
We are hiring a Data & Business Development Analyst to serve as the operational and analytical right hand to our Director of Business Development. This individual will own and optimize HubSpot as a system of record, workflow engine, and reporting platform—while ensuring data integrity across sales, operations, actuarial, and leadership teams.
You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CRM workflows, managing large healthcare datasets, and translating actuarial and operational data into actionable insights that directly drive provider engagement and organizational growth.
This is not a passive reporting role. You will architect data flows, enforce data discipline, and actively improve how HubSpot supports business development strategy.
HubSpot CRM Ownership (Primary Focus)
•Serve as the HubSpot subject matter expert and system owner for business development and provider growth.
• Design, manage, and optimize HubSpot objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, automations, and permissions.
• Own all data imports, deduplication, validation rules, and lifecycle stage logic.
• Build and maintain HubSpot dashboards, reports, and attribution models used by leadership and BD teams.
• Troubleshoot CRM issues in real time, including broken workflows, sync errors, and integration failures.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve CRM usability, data quality, and scalability.
Business Development & Growth Analytics
• Act as the direct analytical partner to the Director of Business Development, ensuring strategies are supported by clean, reliable data.
• Support provider demos, outreach campaigns, and leadership presentations with real-time CRM insights and predictive models.
• Track and report on key growth metrics including provider pipeline health, lives aligned, conversion rates, and shared savings projections.
Data Management & Modeling
• Maintain and reconcile large-scale healthcare datasets (100k+ NPIs, TINs, provider groups) with extreme accuracy.
• Apply advanced Excel, Power BI, or comparable tools to clean, normalize, and analyze complex datasets.
• Build models that integrate CRM data with actuarial benchmarks, risk scores, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with actuarial partners (e.g., Wakely, Falcon, CareJourney) to validate assumptions and outputs.
Cross-Functional Integration
• Serve as the data and CRM linchpin between sales, operations, care management, contracting, and actuarial teams.
• Ensure smooth handoffs and shared understanding across teams through standardized CRM processes and reporting.
• Provide reliable data support when vendors or offshore teams are unavailable.
Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated hands-on experience owning and administering HubSpot CRM (required).
o This role is not suitable for candidates with only light or end-user CRM exposure.
• Strong command of HubSpot workflows, automations, reporting, and data architecture.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, large dataset management).
• Experience working with healthcare-related data (NPIs, TINs, benchmarks, risk adjustment, shared savings) strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting sales or business development teams with CRM-driven insights.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred / Differentiators
• Experience integrating HubSpot with external data sources, analytics tools, or AI-driven automations.
• Familiarity with actuarial data, underwriting, or financial modeling.
• Experience designing CRM processes in high-growth or scaling organizations.
• Comfort acting as both strategist and hands-on executor.
Who You Are
• A CRM-first systems thinker who understands that clean data and disciplined workflows drive growth.
• Comfortable being the engine behind the engine, ensuring HubSpot operates as a reliable source of truth.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and unafraid to fix broken processes.
• Energized by working in a mission-driven healthcare organization where precision, execution, and accountability matter.
If HubSpot is where you do your best work—and you take pride in making complex systems run cleanly and intelligently—this role was built for you.
