Nestled in the heart of Colorado s mountain country, this cow/calf and hay operation takes pride in strong cattle, well-managed pastures, and a lifestyle rooted in hard work and integrity. We are looking for a dedicated Ranch Assistant who values teamwork, independence, and the rewarding challenges of ranch life. What You ll Do: - Work cattle horseback, including roping for pasture doctoring - Assist with all aspects of cow/calf management, including calving, feeding, doctoring, etc. - Monitor herd health, identify and treat sick cattle, and manage nutrition programs - Operate and maintain haying and feeding equipment - Contribute to hay production and winter feeding programs - Build and repair fence, maintain ranch infrastructure, and keep equipment in good working order - Take initiative while also working closely with the ranch manager to keep operations running smoothly Why Join Us: This is more than a job - it s a chance to be part of a ranch that values its people as much as its livestock.
