Interim Audit Prep Consultant

Interim Audit Preparation Consultant Our client, a rapid-growth consumer health and nutrition company, is seeking an Interim Audit Preparation Consultant to support external audit readiness and related technical accounting activities. This role is 100% remote. This engagement has an expected duration of 2-3 months, with the potential for extension. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, managing communication, timelines, and audit requests. • Lead preparation of audit deliverables, including PBC schedules and supporting documentation. • Maintain and track the audit request list to ensure timely, accurate submissions. • Prepare and review roll-forwards, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. • Support technical accounting matters and assist with IFRS-related reporting needs. • Assist with purchase price accounting and post-acquisition accounting activities. • Partner with internal teams to strengthen audit-ready processes and documentation standards. • Identify and implement opportunities to improve audit efficiency and streamline close processes. • Extract and prepare financial data from QuickBooks and other relevant systems for audit use. • Support ad hoc audit and accounting projects as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. • 5-10+ years of accounting experience, including significant audit preparation or audit?heavy roles. • Strong experience managing audit workflows and coordinating external audits. • Solid understanding of IFRS, roll-forwards, and technical accounting concepts. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
