As the company continues to grow, they are expanding their business development efforts and seeking a driven professional to help build new partnerships and increase revenue.
The Role:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth by developing relationships across the insurance and relocation ecosystem.
This role focuses on proactively identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and generating new revenue. While the company is known for high-touch service, this position is centered on expanding the front end of the pipeline.
You will play a key role in:
• Identifying and targeting insurance adjusters, relocation specialists, carriers, and referral partners
• Building new relationships through outreach and networking
• Creating and managing your own pipeline
• Converting conversations into active partnerships
• Collaborating internally to ensure a seamless transition from sale to service

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
• Conduct discovery conversations and position the company's value
• Negotiate and close new partnership agreements
• Track activity and pipeline metrics within CRM tools
• Partner with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients
Requirements / Qualifications
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities
• Comfortable with proactive outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, networking)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident in negotiation and problem-solving
• Experience working in performance-based or commission-driven environments
Preferred but not required:
• Background in temporary housing, relocation, insurance claims, or related industries
• Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Notion, Airtable)
• Experience using sales tools such as Apollo, Clay, Hunter.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
