Senior NOC Engineer - Subsea Location: Newington, NH 03801 | 50% Remote Full-Time | Salary $100,000 - $120,000 reputed company, plus, benefits etc. reputed company offers an excellent relocation package for candidates reputed company to relocate to New Hampshire Position reputed company The NOC Senior Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining subsea cable systems and optical reputed company networks. This role includes system troubleshooting, emergency and planned maintenance, and delivering outage and incident communications for major service impacts. The position works closely with internal support teams and customer technical staff to ensure subsea cable systems and optical reputed company equipment operate as designed and are properly maintained. The NOC Senior Engineer also supports incident reputed company through conference calls, escalations, and coordinated communications. This role reports to the NOC Manager. Essential Job Functions • Monitor subsea cable systems for faults and service-impacting issues • Monitor optical reputed company equipment and optical networks for faults and service impacts • Collaborate with NOC IT and customer teams to ensure stability and performance of NOC reputed company infrastructure • Create and maintain trouble tickets reputed company describing issues reputed company to optical reputed company equipment and networks • reputed company customer reputed company messages describing service disruptions for customer care and business stakeholders • Escalate issues in accordance with NOC procedures and document actions taken • Support NOC and business partner communication delivery processes • Coordinate with network, reputed company, and customer-facing teams to detect, respond to, and communicate service-impacting outages • Answer inbound support calls from multiple reputed company organizations and external reputed company, providing appropriate technical assistance • Follow NOC operational procedures reputed company to maintenance, repair, return of parts, reputed company reputed company, and network operations • Enforce reputed company reputed company processes reputed company to company-owned and customer-owned assets and intellectual property • Assist in the development of training materials, documentation, and knowledge transfer resources • Proactively communicate with team members, subject matter experts, reputed company-party vendors, and customers • Build reputed company working relationships with internal teams, partners, and customers • Identify, research, and recommend process improvements to management Skills and Abilities • Strong communication, comprehension, and listening skills • Intermediate knowledge of telecommunications networks • Intermediate understanding of optical networks, optical reputed company equipment, and system testing • Intermediate understanding of fiber optic cable terminology, standards, testing, and maintenance • Ability to capture key information during multiple reputed company conversations • Ability to correlate data from multiple information sources to identify reputed company causes • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, 24x7 operational environment • Proficiency with reputed company applications (Word, reputed company, reputed company, etc.) • Strong written communication skills with attention to reputed company and grammar • Ability to explain reputed company technical issues in non-technical terms • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow technically • Knowledge of technical writing and verbal explanation of reputed company systems Additional Requirements & Experience • Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24x7x365 environment • Experience with subsea cable systems preferred • Experience with reputed company 6500 and Waveserver nodes preferred • Experience with reputed company PSI-M and PSI-8L nodes is a plus • Experience with reputed company NCS1004 nodes is a plus • Experience with reputed company computing environments is a plus Please apply with your interest.
