Google Cloud Platform Cloud Solutions Architect -Remote

Job Summary: - 100% remote opportunity for US-based applicants (no sponsorship available). - Role requires hands-on coding and practical engineering, not just architecture/design. - Focus on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), including product catalog, Compute, and networking in private clouds. - Must have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) using Terraform. - Proficient in scripting with Python (required), Bash/Shell (should have), and Golang (nice to have). - Strong experience with GitLab and GitOps practices. - Must be experienced with Linux environments. - Can bring expertise in Network, Security, or be a Google Cloud Platform generalist-must add value to the team. - Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable cloud network infrastructures. - Automate network provisioning and management through scripting and IAC. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, security, infrastructure) to deliver integrated solutions. - Plan and migrate existing network workloads to the cloud. - Develop CI/CD deployment processes and orchestration workflows. - Build tools/scripts to improve operational efficiency and automate tasks. - Establish and share DevOps, SecOps, CI/CD, and cloud best practices. - Implement and manage monitoring processes and dashboards. - Support automation, deployment, and continuous integration tools. - Maintain and monitor production and development cloud environments. - Lead multiple development projects, providing coaching and mentoring to team members. - Communicate project status, metrics, and issues clearly to stakeholders. - Requires 5 10 years of cloud architecture experience, including 5+ years with Google Cloud Platform or AWS, Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and Git tools. - Preferred: Agile methodology experience, cloud infrastructure and deployment knowledge, security best practices, Google Cloud Platform CLI, container platforms (Kubernetes, GKE, EKS), and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Artifactory, DockerHub, and database administration.
