Remote Roofing and Drywall Estimators

Job Title: Remote Roofing Estimator & Remote Drywall Estimator Location: Remote (Mexico-based preferred) Company: SmartSourcing USA SmartSourcing USA is hiring for two separate full-time remote positions supporting U.S.-based contractors: • Remote Roofing Estimator • Remote Drywall Estimator 1) Remote Roofing Estimator About the Role: You will support U.S. roofing contractors with accurate, timely estimates for residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: • Review plans and project documents for roofing scopes. • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software (Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar). • Prepare material and labor cost estimates for shingles, metal roofing, membranes, etc. • Coordinate with project managers to clarify scope and assumptions. Requirements: • Based in Mexico, working remotely. • Strong construction knowledge and experience; roofing knowledge a huge plus. • Experience with Planswift and/or Bluebeam (or similar takeoff tools). • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. • Strong math, analytical, and Excel skills. • Good English communication skills (written and verbal). 2) Remote Drywall Estimator About the Role: You will prepare detailed bids for drywall, framing, and interior finishes for U.S. projects. Key Responsibilities: • Review architectural and structural drawings for drywall, framing, and ceiling scopes. • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software (Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar). • Prepare material and labor cost estimates for drywall, studs, insulation, and related work. • Identify scope gaps, clarifications, and value-engineering opportunities. Requirements: • Based in Mexico, working remotely. • Strong construction knowledge and experience (drywall, framing, or interiors). • Experience with Planswift and/or Bluebeam. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. • Strong math, analytical, and Excel skills. • Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
