Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.<br>Responsibilities<br><br>Develop, implement and manage risk management activities.<br>• Manage event and claim investigations, management and litigation across all coverage lines.<br>• Serve on the appropriate hospital/ministry event reporting core team and Serious Event Review team(s).<br>• Evaluate risk management functions and process through the use of data capture, follow up and trend analysis and present findings to appropriate committees; collect, evaluate and distribute relevant data concerning patient/visitor/environmental injuries and near misses and aggregate summaries for committee reviews.<br>• Assist with the development and implementation of initiatives and policies and procedures, including associate and medical staff education activities, Provider Associate Care Team (PACT) program and other risk reduction/elimination throughout the organization.<br>• Support the process of responding to product and safety recalls and alerts and safe medical device reporting of adverse events.<br>• Support the organization's risk management goals, strategies and processes.<br>Requirements<br><br>Education:<br>• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.<br>• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.<br>Additional Preferences<br><br>No additional preferences.<br>Why Join Our Team<br><br>Ascension associates are key to our commitment of transforming healthcare and providing care to all, especially those most in need.
